(V)irtual (R)eality

Can virtuality and reality come together? Maybe I would have said ''no!'' years ago. In today's world, it is, however, possible to see them standing together thanks to materials like 360 VR. Virtual reality is a world where you can touch, see and hear things around you virtually. I mean via 360 VR, you can step on to other worlds that are designed by other people. This object helps people as a real entity to meet with the virtual things. Here I made

VR can be used in many fields, but I type for the educational aspect of it. While choosing the teaching methods and activities, teachers should be quite selective and creative. I mean that in addition to their other facilities, they should be an innovator person too. At least they should be open to new ways. By using materials like 360 VR teachers can enable their students to have fun while learning with virtual reality. For example, if the students need to learn some vocabulary, then they can travel to a virtual world and memorize what they see. I think the objects they come across can be more permanent when compared with the traditional ways. Technology will charm them and make things a little bit funnier and constant.

Also, there are online console games for VR. Of course, people playing those games together play for fun, but we can change things and use it for our educational intentions. We can gather all our students and play role-playing games in the target language. Thanks to role-playing games, our students can enhance not only their vocabulary but also develop their pronunciation and listening skills. Most importantly, they become more creative, practical, and gain sociolinguistic competence.
